Roxbury Russet Apple Tree

OUR STORY

Oldest named apple variety in America. It originated as a chance seedlings in Massachusetts in the early 1600s. The fruits are large and round, with light brown russeting. It is excellent for fresh eating, pies, and sauces, and cider. Blooms late and requires another variety blooming at same time to pollinate. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
