OUR STORY
Cornish Gillflower Apple was found in a cottage garden in Truro, Cornwall, England. The Cornish Gilliflower has rich and aromatic flavors. The word 'gilliflower' is possibly a corruption of a French word girofle meaning clove, believed to be a reference to its aroma when cut. Grows in USDA zones 5-9. Blooms midseason and requires another variety blooming at the same time for pollination. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
