Siberian Crab apples are red, long stemmed, and makes a wonderful red jelly, great for blending for hard cider. Siberian Crab apple trees have an attractive spreading growth habit. This tree blooms midseason and requires another self-fertile tree blooming at the same time for pollination. Consider Grimes Golden, White Pearmain, Liberty or Newtown Pippin as self-fertile pollinators. Grows in USDA zones 4-10. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
