Fresh eating apple. This heritage apple had been grown for many years in the Counties Kikenny and Antrim in Ireland (1802). Flesh is creamy yellow, firm and fragrantly fruity. Crisp, tart and crunchy with a spicy flavour and hint of boysenberry. Grows in USDA zones 5-9. Blooms mid-season and requires another tree blooming at same time for pollination. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
