The Iron Bridge apple was discovered growing wild in the mid-1980s. It was found near an old iron bridge in Wisconsin. Iron Bridge is an heirloom or specialty apple variety known for producing a crisp, sweet, and slightly tart flavor profile. Grows in USDA zones 3-6. It blooms midseason. Will cross-pollinate reliably with most other common mid-season apple trees.



(zones 4-8) Firm, crisp, white flesh with a sweet-tart balance with a subtle pear flavor with hints of honey and vanilla.
