Hudson's Golden Gem apple was discovered in Oregon, in 1931. It is russeted with crisp, white, flesh. It taste mildly sweet and tart, with a nutty flavor resembling "Bosc' pears. It is an excellent apple for fresh eating, salads, cooking, or cider. Grows in zones 4-10. Blooms early and requires another tree blooming at the same time for pollination.
