Gold Rush apples origins are Indiana around 1973. this apple has a spicy flavor, intense acidity and high sugar content. It is a disease resistant apple ideal for home gardens. It will keep for six months or more. GoldRush is a multipurpose apple that makes excellent cider, ideal for fresh salads, or drying, it does not brown. Maintains its flavor and firmness in pies. Grows in USDA zones 4-10. It blooms midseason and requires another variety blooming at same time for pollination.
