Large to very large apple. It has been called "the greatest cooking apple of the century. It is high acid and high in Vitamin C. It is the favorite apple in the United Kingdom for apple pies. Can be planted in USDA zones 4-9. It has sterile pollen therefore it needs a self fertile pollinator tree nearby. (White Pearmain, Newtown Pippin, Grimes Golden) Tree is grafted on mm-111 rootstock.
