Golden Nugget Apple Tree

OUR STORY

The Golden Nugget apple was created in Kentville, Nova Scotia as a cross between Cox’s Orange Pippin and Golden Russet. The apple was created in 1932 and released in 1964. Golden Nugget apples are small, yellow apple streaked and blushed with orange. Golden Nugget is rich and sweet, The Golden Nugget is a wonderful all purpose apple. Blooms midseason and requires another variety blooming at the same time for pollination. Grows in USDA zones 5-10. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
