The Braeburn apple is a popular, medium-to-large apple known for its rich, crisp, and balanced sweet-tart flavor. Originating in New Zealand in 1952, the apple is great for fresh eating and baking because it holds its shape and does not release excess liquid when heated. Bold, tangy, and aromatic with a crisp snap and spicy undertones like cinnamon or nutmeg. Grows in USDA zones 5-10. Blooms mid to late season and is self-fertile. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
