The Yellow Bellflower apple was discovered in Crosswicks, New Jersey, 1742. It has firm, yellowish flesh and has a rich flavour, with lots of sugar and acidity. Great for cider, cooking, sauces, and fresh eating. Grows in USDA zones 5-10. Blooms midseason and requires another variety blooming at the same time for pollination. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
