Williams' Pride is an early-season, apple known for its disease resistance. Crisp, juicy flesh with a rich, slightly spicy-sweet flavor and balanced tartness. The skin is a dark reddish-purple or deep purple with light-colored flesh that often has red staining underneath. Highly resistant or immune to major apple diseases, such as apple scab, fire blight, cedar-apple rust, and powdery mildew, making it ok for no spray. Blooms early to midseason. Requires another variety blooming at same time for pollination. Grows in USDA zones 4-8. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
