Sweet Bough is an old American apple, originating on the east coast before 1800. Sweet Bough's flesh is white, firm, crisp, juicy, sweet, aromatic, very good quality for kitchen and desert use. Grows in USDA zones 5-9. Blooms midseason and requires another variety blooming at the same time for pollination. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
