Saint Edmund's Russet Apple

OUR STORY

St. Edmund's Russet apple is an heirloom English dessert apple raised by Mr. Richard Harvey in Bury St. Edmunds, England, before 1845 and introduced around 1870–1875. It is crisp, very juicy and sweet, featuring distinct notes of pear, vanilla, and nuts. Blooms early to midseason. Needs a self fertile pollinator such as Egremont Russet or Cox Orange Pippin. Grows best in USDA Hardiness Zones 4 through 9. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
