The Haralson is a classic, cold-hardy medium-sized red apple introduced by the University of Minnesota Fruit Breeding Farm in 1922. Known for its crisp, firm, and distinctly tart flavor, it remains a favorite for northern climates, fresh snacking, baking, and cider. Blooms midseason and requires another variety blooming for pollination. Grows in USDA zones 3-8. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
