Cox's Orange Pippin, discovered in 1830, in England and it is the nation's favorite apple. It is crisp, aromatic, semi-tart. Cox's Orange Pippin is a multipurpose apple good for cooking or cider as well as fresh eating. Grows in USDA zones 4-10. It is self fertile. Trees are bench grafted 1/4-3/16 inch diameter and 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall when shipped.
