A historic apple rediscovered in the 1980s that tastes like an apple pie
Discovered in an old planting in California during the 1980s. This apple has a rich, spicy-sweet flavor with distinct cinnamon and clove, the wine-red fruit is excellent for fresh eating, baking, and pressing into cider. The tree grows well in USDA zones 4–10. Grows great in the South. Blooms mid season and needs a pollinator tree that blooms at same time. Grafted on MM111 rootstock.
