The Honeymoon

During the Middle Ages, newlyweds were given a full moon’s cycle (30 days) worth of mead (honey wine) as a gift. It was believed that that drinking the honey wine would bring fertility. This is why the period after marriage is called the honeymoon. A good gift to give for your next wedding.
